Just behind the wing on the 727 is the northwest tip of Curacao. The operating location is in view in this photo at the tip of the island.

 

 Another perspective -- looking south, the QTH is at the rightmost tip on the land you see above. Obviously, it's a dream salt water location.

 Noel, W9EFL, high above Haiti. Notice all the empty seats on this Miami - Curacao flight. That's why American is discounting Curacao airfares so heavily.
