| Site Layout -- PJ2C |
|
Here's the tentative layout for the site. North is up. The PJ2C operating villa is marked as such. The photo above was taken from the cliff's edge at the very bottom left corner of the illustration below, looking north-northeast.
The 40 yagi for the run station will be on a 20 foot mast on the balcony of the villa shown in the above photo. It needs to be the highest antenna and this is how we'll get it "high." Attached to the top of its mast will be the 80 sloper for the run station. Yagis will be arrayed along the top of the cliff, with 10 closest to keep its feedline shortest. The tribander for the mult station will be more "inland" and as far as we can get it from the 20/15/10 run yagis. There is plenty of room for a beverage to the northeast. The 80/40 mult vertical is shown northeast of the villa. Coax runs will consist of a mix of RG-8X (wherever we can get away with it, like for 160, 80, and 40, and RG-8/U for the rest of the antennas.
If we have any rotors at all, even only one, it will be on the mult yagi. The rest of the antennas will be rope-rotated. Click here to see the details on the equipment planning.
