How to Print from the SDSF Hold Queue

1. After you run a JCL job, the output will be spooled to the hold queue, the contents of which can be displayed by entering =A.H on any command line in any panel. Below is an example of the hold queue panel.

2. Assume you want to print the second file down from the to. Enter an O in the "NP" column, a B in the "C" column and BUS in the "DEST column, making the screen look like this screen on the reverse:

Now press <ENTER>. Press <ENTER> again, and you’ll see the message that your output has been rerouted to the business school printer. Press <ENTER> a third time, and you’ll get the hold queue panel back again. The line for your output will have disappeared because that entry in the hold queue has been printed, then purged.
