MVS and Hardware
The operating systems run the actual hardware.
Multiple operating systems can co-exist on one mainframe.
For this part of the course, we are on the MVS op sys.
Other MVS partitions run the whole university.
There are user groups within each partition.
Each group has its own data set space and many users.
