Data Set Naming
The above is a sample TSO dataset name.
It has four levels of “qualification”: Project, Group, Type, Member
If the dataset is NOT a library (this one IS a library), there will be no “Member” qualifier.
Each qualifier is limited to 8 characters.
The whole dataset name is limited to a maximum of 44 characters.
ALL the datasets in this class will have a Project qualifier of INSGSH1 (the instructor’s ID.)
