Objective: This course
covers the current and future issues of management by introducing you to the
field of management, and presenting you with some theoretical insights on its
most important aspects.

Chapter Tests: Chapter tests and the Comprehensive Final
Examination will consist of multiple choice and True/False Questions. All material will be taken from the
Contemporary Management Textbook. One
Test will be dropped. Students are
encouraged to complete practice quizzes that are available on the CD Rom that
is included with the textbook.
Homework: Homework will be awarded for chapters
relating to a specific test. A total of
ten points (10) will be awarded for each group of chapters per test regardless
of the number of chapters covered for a particular test. You are expected to answer questions under
the heading Management in Action, Topics for Discussion and Action (see page 31
for Chapter 1).
Make-up Tests: Will
be permitted for students who have a legitimate emergency for which written
documentation has been provided and will be arranged personally with
professor.
Final Examination: The Final Examination for the course will be
comprehensive.
